Return calculator

Work it out with your figures: how many hours go today on searching for data, typing documents and preparing reports, and how many could be recovered. It is your estimate, not our promise.

Your figures

The boxes come with sample values so you can see how it works. They are not data from any company: change them to yours. The calculation is done in your browser and is not sent anywhere.

The time that goes today
h/wkChecking a price, a stock level, a due date; answering a customer or a colleague.
h/wkInvoices, delivery notes, orders entered by hand. Document reading is bought separately from the plan.
h/moThe month-end close, the weekly summary, the list of what is pending.
Your assumptions: what share of that time would be recovered

%These three percentages are assumptions, not measurements: there is not yet any measured data from companies that use Fold. Adjust them to what seems reasonable in your case.

Your estimate

Estimate made with your figures and your assumptions. It is not a result or a guaranteed saving.

–hours a month spent today

–what those hours cost per month

People × (search hours + typing hours) × 4.33 weeks + report hours; times the cost of an hour.

Cautious

––recoverable per month–estimated value per month

Expected

––recoverable per month–estimated value per month

High

––recoverable per month–estimated value per month

The plan that would fit by number of people–

The formula and the assumptions, in view

  • Hours a month spent today = people × (hours a week searching for data + hours a week typing documents) × 4.33 + hours a month on reports. The 4.33 is the average number of weeks in a month (52 divided by 12).
  • What they cost = those hours × the cost of an hour that you entered.
  • Recoverable hours in each scenario = today’s hours × that scenario’s percentage. Estimated value = recoverable hours × cost of an hour.
  • The percentages are assumptions. They do not come from any measurement: Fold does not yet have companies with measured results, and that is why we do not publish savings figures. The starting values (15, 30 and 50%) are a starting point so that the calculator shows something; change them.
  • The estimated value is not money saved. It is hours your team could spend on something else. Whether that turns into savings depends on what you do with them.
  • Not everything depends on the plan. Recovering the time spent typing documents needs document reading, which is bought separately and set up for each company. What is not “Available” in capabilities does not count yet.
  • The plan that would fit is chosen only by the number of people and each plan’s limit. It does not take into account how many programs you need to connect or how many questions you will ask: that is in plans and pricing.
