Coming soon to Fold
announced features that aren't available yet, so you know what's on the way without confusing it with what already works.
Fold keeps growing. Some features you'll see mentioned on the plans screen, with a lock icon and a "coming soon" label, aren't active yet: they're shown so you know what's on the way, not because they can already be used.
Universal connectors
Today Fold connects with Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox (see "Connecting Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox"). A way to connect, always read-only, any other system you use is planned: your own API, a database, an FTP/SFTP folder, a mailbox, or an in-house program. In the meantime, if you need something like that, you can request it as a custom automation (see "Requesting an automation").
SharePoint
Within Microsoft, today the connection covers OneDrive. SharePoint as its own connection type, with its specific permissions, is on the roadmap.
Single sign-on (SSO)
For larger companies, the ability to log into Fold with a corporate Microsoft or Google Workspace account, instead of a Fold-specific username and password, is planned.
Your own subdomain
It's also planned for each company to eventually have its own address within Fold (for example, yourcompany.foldburnao.com) instead of sharing the general one.
Other features marked "coming soon"
Depending on your plan, you'll also see things like configurable alerts, an automatic monthly report, or connecting several in-house programs at once on the plans screen: anything shown with the "coming soon" lock is announced but not yet working.
How you'll find out when it arrives
As soon as one of these features is available, its lock icon disappears and you can activate it directly from the relevant screen. You don't need to request it — as soon as it exists, you'll see it.
