Plans and usage
what each Fold plan includes (questions, seats, features) and how to check your usage for the month.
Fold charges for a monthly (or annual) plan that includes a number of questions per month, a number of team seats, and certain features. The exact prices and what each plan includes at any given time are always on Account › Plan and billing, the plans screen: it's the reference that never goes stale if something changes.
The plan tiers
From smallest to largest: Free (no card, with a daily and weekly question limit, meant for trying Fold out), and then the paid tiers Basic, Standard, Professional, and Enterprise, each with more monthly questions, more seats, and, from a certain tier up, extra features like the "director" AI (for questions that need several steps) or catalog automations with the fee already included.
All prices on the plans screen include the applicable tax; the exact rate depends on your country.
How a question is counted
Anything you ask Fold counts as a question, whether it's answered by a direct rule or by AI: the plan measures answers, not whether AI was needed behind the scenes. Not counted: answering "yes" or "no" to something Fold asked you, or messages sent to Customer support.
Checking your usage
Account › Usage shows how many questions you've used today, this week, and this month, and when the counter resets (at midnight, on Monday, or on the 1st, depending on your plan's limit).
If you run out before the month ends
You can add an extra block of questions (price on the plans screen) or upgrade your plan. Neither one deletes any data or changes anything else about your account.
Overage blocks
Extra blocks are bought within the current month: they can't be purchased while a payment is overdue (see "Invoices and payments").
Monthly or annual
Every paid plan has an annual version with one month free: you pay upfront for the equivalent of 11 months and use all 12. Included questions stay the same every month — they don't accumulate. You can switch between monthly and annual anytime from Account › Plan and billing.
